TO prevent misapprehension, persons desirous of ‘applying'to purchase or occupy Crown Lands, are informed that every application must be bmde at the Land Office of the disti’ct in which the land applied for is situated. The land in Glenkenich and Waipahee Districts, advertised open for application on the 22nd instant, must he applied for at Invercargill. Forms of application may be had at any Land Office, or will by post to any one if requested. Applications may be sent by post, addiessed to “The District Land Officer,” along with a draft in favour of the Receiver of Land Revenue, for the deposit of 2s. on ac-e of the land applied for. J. T. I HEREBY Give Notice, that the Alexandra’Steam Dredge Company, on the 17th day of March, 1873, made application for a SPECIAL CLAIM on the river Molyneux (as described in schedule helow) under and in terms of the 12th Section of the Gold-fields Act, 1860 j that said claim has been surveyed, and the plans may be seen at my office. Any person desiring to object to the above application must lodge their Objections at this office on or before Tuesday, the 10th day of June next; And I hereby appoint Wednesday, the 11th day of June next for the consideration of said application. and any objections that may be made thereto, at my office, Clyde. On the River Molyneux, between the townships ofClydeand Alexandra, commencing at a point on said river immediately above the island, and about one mile and a half above Alexandra, and terminating at a point immediately below Mutton-town Gully, a distance of two and a half miles, but ■exclusive of the ground occupied by the Clyde Dredging Company, the Hartley Dredging Company, and the Pneumatic Gold Milling Company, as the same is marked on the ground and delineated on the plan.
