—o Tho usual monthly nutating of tho Committee of Management was held in the Committee room, Town-hall, Clyde, on Monday evening last, the 3rd Inst., at S p. m. Present : J. U. Cambridge, in the chair, and Messrs. Naylor, Marshall, -Stevens, Holt, Auckland, A. Christophers, (Treasurer) and G. Fache, Secretary. The Secrota-y explained that pais he'ng the first meeting of the present Comrabtco, there were no minutes to road, and proceeded to read the correspondence, which was received and adopted. Tho Visiting Committee's report No. 1. to the ofleet that the Institution was in an efficient and satisfactory state was lead and received.
Their Ko. 2. Report, recommending payment of I ICh la. for salaries and supplies for the past month, was read and received. The Treasurer’s report as follows, was road and received. RECEIPTS.
N'iSO IS 2 The Surgeon’s report was read and received. Number of Patients admitted during the month, 10 ; discharged, 7; died, 1 ; remaining in Hospital, 8 ; daily average of indoor patients, over 9 ; number of outdoor patients attended to, 15; number of attendances <n same, 2'?. The Secretary was instructed to collect lire accounts due by paying patients, Jones, Robertson, and Bailey'. The Tinting Committee's attention was directed to clause 17 of the Regulations. Resolved, That tenders bo invited for supplying blankets, counterpanes, and clothing. Tenders to be laid’on the table at the next monthly meeting The Visiting Committee were intruded to make arrangements for forwarding Eilardus Ylcitotra to the Dunedin Hospital, his being essentially a chronic case. The President, Treasurer, and Visiting Committee were Appointed a sub-Committce to arrange for publishing the Annual Report. Messrs. Naylor and Cambridge were appointed members of the Visiting Committee. George Fache was re-appointed Collector at a salary' of 501. per annum. After the usual vote of thanks to the Chair the meeting separated.
