CLYDE TOWN COUNCIL.
The Ajonrned meeting of the Clyde Town Council was held on Friday, the 6th mat. Pr sent: J. U. Cambridge, Eaq,. Mayor, and Councillors Auckland, Patterson, Marshall, and Hazlett. The inward and outward correspondence were read; the former received and latter adopted. A sot of forms from the Town. Clerk, Dunedin, under the local r venues Ordinanance were laid on the table. After some discussion, it was decided that the Matter of printing those required by the Council should be left in the hands of the Mayor. The Town Clerk was instructed to de maud arrears of Water rate, and to enforce pay-men' if n-mejaary. The Town Clerk was further instructed to write to Mr H«dt, to request him t make good the guage Box to Race at tl e rear of Sunderland-street; also to give him notice that, unless he taek mmediate step* to repair the damage done to retaining wall at the rear of Sunderland-street west, the Council would have it done at his expense Also towrite to the Waste Land Bard, asking for a re'uru of original purchasers of sections in the Town of ( lyde. A vo e of thanks tothe Mayor terminated the Meeting.
