In July, 1860, being then in bad health, ho was Hying at Wentworth junction, I'arang River, untier the care of Mr. Cottier, a medical Prac titioner at that township. He was. last heard ot in the January following (1861) when he was employed as shepherd by Mr James Shadbolt, of Long Gully, near Sandhurst, Victoria, under tho name of James Wood.
