When so much has been permitted it is hardly worth while letting the last strain excite our indignanatiou. * Better peak at once, confess our sins, aud receive a full remission under the Corporation seal of Lawrence. After that it would be as well to include the whole up-country districts in one grand Tuapeka County, end rase to the ground Roxburgh, Alexandra, Clyde, Cromwell, and such other places as have dared to compare themselves with our natural metropolis! - ;, — Lawrence.
