ALEXANDRA SCHOOL.
The following is an extract of a minute pissed by the Alexandra School Committee at a meeting held on the Sth day of October 1872 : —•* Moved, seconded, and carried, That Mr. Reid’s report for the quarter ending September 30, together with a cheque for 15/. for School fees in excess of his quarter’s salary be received and adopted with thanks, and that this Committee desire to convey to him and Miss Fraser their sincere congratulations on the highly satisfactory state of the School, under their combined management, and especially, to express a sense of their entire confidence in Mr. Reid’s professional abilities, and their highest respect for him as a gentleman,"
The total expense of the new Paris Optia House, ground included, is calculated at 1,600,0001.
