Sir It has been tbe custom hitherto for a meeting of the above Club to be held gome time in June for tbe purpose of regulating their future proceedings, and likewise to give a statement of accounts to those in. terested. No meeting having taken place, I should presume that the Club is defunct, or, that those gentlemen entrusted with the management of the same, have, either through wilfulness or otherwise, neglected to hold the usual meeting. If that you can give me any information with regard to the above, you would much oblige your’s,"&c., SUBSCRIBER. Clyde, July 23, 1572.
