I- t-;i '■ —°— T)ie usual monthly meeting of the Committee, of ‘management was held in the Committee Room, Monday evening last the 4th instant. - Present, James Hazlett, Esq., in the Chair, and Messrs. Nayjor, Beck, Marshall Cambridge, Auckland, Holt, Cox, A. Christo pliers,’Honorary Treasurer, and George Faohe, Secretary. The mjnutes of the previous montldy meeting were read and confirmed. The following correspondence, inward, was read and received—from J. A. Preshaw Esq., Chairman of the Cromwell Local Committee, accompanying cheque for 291. 12s. ; from the Resident Surgeon; from T. L. Shepherd, Esq., respecting special grant to the Institution ; from T. L. Shepherd, Esq., respecting payment of subsidy due ; from W. Greenbank, accompanying cheque for 31. 12s. fid., balance ofjamount collected by him on Drybread ; from W. A. Worsop, Esq., Wanaka, Secretary to regatta committee, accompanying cheque for 51. 10s., and the outward was read and adopted. The Visiting Committee’s Report No. 1. was read and received. < Report No. 2. recommending the payment of accounts amounting to 821. Cs. 5d., was read and adopted. The Surgeon’s report'showing the following figures, was. read and received.
