A. new Freemasons’ Hall has been built in Bristol;(England), at a cost of 8,000?. It was formally opened by the Earl of Limerick, assisted by about four hundred brethren. There is a curious correspondence on record between a once Bishop of Cork and a once Duke of York who wanted a man ordained :— * Dear Cork, —Please ordain the bearer.—Yours truly, York. Dear York,—The bearer’s ordained.—Yours, Cork.’
