Mr, Macassey has obtained the appointment of a Committee to confer with the University Council regarding the establishment of medical and law classes. A Committee of Inquiry has been appointed re the Mon Flat sale. Mr. Macassey moved for papers in respect to Judge Ward’s appointment, contending that it was quite unnecessary. Mr. Webster has given notice of a series of restitutions, calling upon the public to contribute one-half towards the expenses of the Dunedin Hospital.
