The annual sports held, with true Parish I enthusiasm in this re note locality proved a I glorious success. The refreshment department, under the cars of V v ■ Flo.. of Dry broad, lacked in nr -iso i .oil element; and the duties of the slcwards were performed with the efficiency characterising th i true sportsmen. This was a hot:y contcs ed race from start to finish, bo hj Yattcrina and London coming up tnc straight Vicing heavily whi ped. Yatteiina however was landed a wimur by a bare length.
