HEATAER JOCK has taken first and second prizes as a colt of one, two, andthreo years old in Victoria, Sire Reformer, who gained the Highland Society’s first prize at Perth in 1552 ; as a yearling, in IBSC, at Melbourne, the Port Phillip Farmers' So ciety’s first prize, heating Clyde (Mr. J, Wilson’s and four other imported sires ; in 1557, at Melbourne, the Port Phillip Farmers’ Society’s first prize, beating Clyde and 25 others; at the same meeting tvou the Champion Cup, value £SO, as the most perfect animal exhibited. He has also taken a number of local prizes, and his stock have been successful as prize-takers, Dam, Flora, got by tire renowned horse Prince Charlie, imported by Messrs. MTntoslr. Glenroy, out of a pure bred V.D.L, mare bredriy R. Q. Kermode, Mona Vale. Flora took first prize at AVlutlesea two years in succession, first at Kilmore and second at Heidelberg in 1801. 'To travel this Season the Entire Draft Horse ROYAL DUKE The property of Thomas Alee, Black's Eo.l, WILL travel this Season through Blade’s Dunstan, Ida Valley, and St. Bathan’s Districts. Royal Duke is a pir-e bred Clyde-dale, rising six years old, stands IGA hands high, possesses groat strength of boa?, firm action, beautiful symmetry, and is of a bright bay colour ; lie also has proved himself a sure foal getter. Royal Duke won the first prize when a three old in Dunedin, and the second prize against all comers at the Clutlia. At the Agricultural Show, DimeJ'.i, be abo gamed tlie first prize as a three year old cole. One of his feals, shown in Tokomairiro last year, gained the first prize against numerous competitors. Royal Duke was got by Champion, (well-known to bo the best horse imported to this colony), out of the celebrated mare Jessy, imported in 1863, by Messrs. Emmery and Straghan, from Tasmania. The same year she gained the Taieri Agricultural Society’s first prize for the best colonial-hred maro, and the second prize for the best draft mare at the Show, beating Mr. Kimmo’s black maro imported direct from Scotland, and tiio following year took prizes both in Dunedin and TaierL Terms, SA 4s. Groomage, 5b ; payable at Gist service. Guarantees by arrangement; and all demands payable to the Groom, on or before the Ist February, 1872, whenthfi season ends.
