And Notice is hereby further given, that it is intended to apply for power in the said Bill, for the compulsory taking of all or such part or parts as may be required for the purposes ot the said Works of thelands hereinafter described, that is to say, a piece or parcel of land commencing- at a point at or near the out Station hnt of M'Laren, Grora AmoVatHie Gorge, on the Wai'fC/ri IGm Stream, in the Leaning Rope in the Province ana running in a southerly to the mouth of the Wai Kmfi Keri Valley, and thence in a westpfly direction following the terraces/to a point terminating at the site of/xlie proposed Reservoir, on the north-east side of Block 43, Township of Clyde. The total length of ground required being nine miles by an aver amt with of twelve feet or thereabouts.. Ami Noth e is hereby further given that the Names of the several Owners and Occupiers of the Lands hereinbefore described and intended to be taken as aforesaid are as follows Charles Aftfield, Samuel Welsford, James Uazlett, William Williams, Jean Desi'-e Poland, John D. Atkin, Daniel ' Hanlon, Jamas M‘Aitliur Education Committee, and the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Province of Otago And Notice is hereby further given that Copies of the proposed Bill will be deposited in the Colonial Secretary’s office at Wellington , aforesaid, and at the office intheCuyof Dunedin in the Province of Otago of the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the said Province, on Friday lhe.2Bth day of July instant, and that flans of the proposed works, and a copy of the “ New Zealand Gazette ” containing this Notice will be deposited ad the Office of (he Town Clerk for the in- | corporated Town of Clyde aforesaid | on the day of July | instant.
