Distance om mile and a half Second horse to save his stakes. HACK SELLING RACE Of 10 sovs No weight under ten stone, three quarter’s of a mile heats. The winner to be sold for fifteen sovs. Surplus, if any, to go to the race fund. - Post entry, 20s. CONSOLATION HANDICAP Of 15 sovs For all beaten horses. Once round the course. Post entry, 20s.
RULES, The Rules of the Dunstan Jockey Club will be adhered to in all cases. Jockey costume will be insisted upon, except in post entry races, when the cap will be sufficient. Persons entering horses to give the. name and age of the horse and colors of the rider. No person to enter a horse unless a subscriber of one guinea to the raci fund. Decision of the Stewards in all cases to be tiiud. Entries for the Town Plate to be sent to the Secretary, at the Dunstan Creek Hotel, on Saturday, the 31st ol December, by 8 o’clock p.m , enclosing entrance money. Entrances for the Matakanui Handicap will be received up to 9 o’clock p m. on the 2nd day of January, and acceptances immediately the weights are declared Five per cent to be deducted from all winnings.
