(The Greatest Display of Talent ever concentrated in the Up-Country Districts) WILL take place at Cromwell on Thursday evening, the Ist of December, under the patronage of the Town Council, in that beautiful and spacious building the Town Hall (Mr. Kidd’s Concert Hall being too small), The proceeds to be given to the “Vultures.” PROGRAMME— Part I. Song, by a Member of the Council: “ He would be a Mayor j” a parody on “He would be a Gentleman.” To be followed by A New Comic Farce, composed for the occasion by a Lady Amateur, and entitled “ Pills and Squills.” The Banting Dry Nurse will give his inimitable Delineations on the Wonderful Medicin Bottle.
