We have succeeded in making arrangements by which we shall be able to supply our readers, on the arrival of the English Mail, with a Supplement of twenty-four columns of the latest and most reliable commercial and general intelligence. With this day’s paper the first of the Supplements is issued, and we trust, from the large and varied amount of information and readable matter contained within its columns, it will meet with a favorable reception and will bear good fruits. It may not be out of place here to our supoorters for the very
liberal patronage accorded to us since we first introduced ourselves, and also for the kindly consideration that has been shown us on all occasions, and further to state that We have been induced to launch into this expense in recognition of those favors.
