DUNSTAN DISTRICT JOCKEY CLUB.
A meeting of the Committee was held at the Sydney Hotel, Clyde, on Tuesday evening last. Mr. William Fraser, president, in the chair and a full committee were present.
The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed.
The inward and outward correspondence was read, received, and adopted. Tlie Treasurer’s report showed a balance in hand of £l5O. It was resolved, That the amount of stakes to be ran for at the next annual meeting (24th and 25th February) do not exceed £OOO.
Mr. Vincent Pyke was appointed judge, Mr. John Haudyside, starter, Mr. Robert M'Morran, clerk of the course, and Messrs. W. Fraser, R. A. LoVtghnan, R. M Turnbull, J. A Douglas, H. G Glassford, J. Hazlett, W. Smithain, and H. S. Thomson, Stewar !s; Messrs. Douglas, Fraser, and Grindley, ttandicapp ers,an 1 R. Barlow, Secretary. The next business was the drawing up of the programme, the particulars of which appear in another column.
After the usual vote of thanks to the chairman the meeting terminated.
