Don was got by Gil Bias, out of Penelope, by the imported Desert Arab Ajah Baba ; g-d., by the cele brated race-horse Grenadier. Don Quixote is too well known to need comment, the proprietor deeming it sufficient to state that he is in splendid health and first-class condi tion. The Celebrated CLYDESDALE ENTIRE HORSE HEATHER JOCK WILL Travel this Season in the Clyde, Alexandra, Black’s, Drybread, St. Bathan’s, Cromwell and Hill’s Creek Districts. HEATHER JOCK isabeautiful dark bay horse, 17 hands high, of immense bone, fine symmetry, and supevioraction, was got by the far-famed horse Reformer, imported by C. Rossiter, Esq., Cranbourne, and out of the celebrated mare Flora, the property of J. Johnston, Esq., VV'hitiesea, Victoria. HEATHER JOCK has taken first and second prizes as a colt of one, two, and three years old in Victoria. Sire Reformer, who gained the Highland Society’s first prize at Perth in 1852 ; as a yearling, in 1856, at Melbourne, the Port Phillip Farmers’ Society’s first prize, beating Clyde (Mr J. Wilson’s) and four other imported sires ; in 1857, at Melbourne, the Port Phillip Farmers’ Society’s first prize, beating Clyde and Ibfir others ; at the same meeting won the Champion Cup, value £3O, as the most perfect animal exhibited. He has also taken a num her of local prizes, and his stock have been successful as prize-takers, Pam, Flora, got by the renowned horse Prince Charlie, imported by Messrs. M‘lntosh, G'enroy, out of a pure-bred V.D.L. mare bred by R. Q. Kevmode, Mona Vale. Flora took first prize at Whitlesea two years in succession, first at Kilmore and second at Heidelberg in 1861.
