Cranbourue, and out of the celebrated mare Flora, the property of J Johnston, Esq., Whitiesea, Victoria, HEATHER JOCK has taken first and second prizes as a colt of one, two, and three years old in Victoria. Sire Reformer, who gained the Highland Society’s first prize at Berth in 1852 ; as a yearling, in 1856, at Melbourne, the Port Phillip Farmers’ Society’s first prize, beating Clyde (Mr J. Wilson’s) and four other imported sires ; in 1857, at Melbourne, the Port Phillip Farmers’ Society’s first prize, beating Clyde and four others; at the same meeting won the Champion Cup, value £3O, as the most perfect animal exhibited. He has also taken a num ber of local prizes, and his stock have been successful as prize-takers, 1 am, Flora, got by the renowned horse Piince Charlie, imported by Messrs. M ‘Jnto.Ji, Gl enroy, out of a pure-bred V.D.L. mare bred by R. Q. Kermode, Momy Vale. Flora look first prize at W hitiesea two years in succession, first at Ivilraore and second at Heidelberg in 1861.
