Plant early potatoes. Land up and stake early peas. Hoots of carrot, parsley, beet, and cabbage intended for seed should now be sot in sheltered places. Plant rhubarb, soakale, and asparagus ; also the main crop of shalots. Keep the ground well stirred between the rows of advancing crops of cabbage, cauliflower, &e.

Fruit Garden',— Proceed with the transplanting of fruit trees; hushes, raspberry canes, 'and strawberry plants. Remove all suckers from the roots of fruit trees; and any pruning not yet done should be no longer delayed. Some half-decomposed manure spread over the roots of newlyplanted fruit trees will prove beneficial. Plant hedge-rows of thorn quicks, sweet briar, and broom.

Flower Garden.— There are many late flowering bulbs, such as lilies and gladioli, which may still ho planted. Plant flower seeds of all hardy things. Sow both annual and perreriial flower seeds. Transplant shrubs, and secure by stakes those which may ho in danger from wind. Plant edgings of box, thyme, roses, camomile, London pride, rosemary, etc.
