The nomination must be made in writing, and be signed by the elector, according to the following form, and be delivered at my residence, Clyde, at any reasonable time of the day, on or before the 16th day of March iust. Qualifications. The following are the qualifications fixed by I he' General Synod for electors and lay representatives : “Electors.—Every layman of the age of 21 years and upwards, who shall have signed a declaration in the tollowing form, viz.." 1 1, do hereby declare that I am a Member of the United Church of England and Ireland in New Zealand. ’ is qualified to vote at the election of Lay Representatives for the district in which he resides. “Lay Representatives or Synodsmen.
