RULES.

The Eules of the Duns tan Jockey Club will be adhered to in all cases. Jockey Costume will be insisted upon, except in Post Entry Eaees, when the Cap will be sufficient. Persons entering horses to give the name, age and pedigree (if any), also colors of the rider. No person to enter a horse unless a subscriber of two guineas to the Race Fund, except for Post Entry' Races. Five per cent to be deducted from all winnings. Decision of the Stewards in all cases to be final. All entries to he sent to the Secretary on Monday the 4th inst., up to 9o’clock p.m., at the Matakanui Hotel, enclosing entrance money. Acceptances for the Matakanui Handicap will be received immediately the weights arc declared. Three horses to start or no event. By Order of the Stewards, J. STEWART DICKIE, Hoa Sec. N.B. Athletic Sports will come off on the 7th inst.
