MAIDEN PLATE, Of 50 Sovs , for all horses that have never won an advertised prize, matches and hack races excepted. Weight for age. Entrance £3 3s. Distance one mile and a half. DISTRICT HANDICAP.

Of 75 Sovs., with a Sweepstake of 2 Sots. each. The second horse to receive amount accruing from the sweepstakes. Nominations, with £2 2s. enclosed, to be received by the Secretary before 9 p.m. on the 2Sth December, 1863. The weights to be declared in the “ Dims tan Times on the Bth of January 1869, and in the “Otago Daily Times” on the 11th of January. Acceptance, with £2 25., together with sweepstake(£2), enclosed, to be received by the Secretary before 8 p.m. on the 3rd of February, 1869. Distance two miles. HANDICAP HURDLE RACE Of 50 Sovs. One mile and a half heats, over five flights of hurdles each heat Nominations, with £2 25., and acceptances, with. £2 25., to be received, also declationof weights to be made, on same dates and in same manner as in the District handicap. Of 150 So vs., for all horses. Second horse to receive XIO out of the stakes. Entrance £7 7s. Weight for age. Distance two and a half miles. HACK SELLING RACE Of 20 Sovs. No weight less than lOst. One mile heats. The winner to be sold by public auction for X2O, and the surplus (if any) to go to the race fund. Post entry, XI Is.

SECOND DAY. MINERS’ & PACKERS’ PURSE Of 20 So vs., for all untrained horses that have never won a prize of £2O. No weight under lOst. Three-quarters of a mile heats Post entry, £1 Is. Of 30 Sovs. Duustan Jockey Club welter-weights for age. Gentlemen riders. Entrance £3 3s. Distance one mile and a half. CONSOLATION HANDICAP Of 30 Sovs., for all beaten horses. Post entry, £1 Is Distance one mile and a half. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Nominations for the District Handicap, Hurdle Race, Dunatan Jockey Club Handicap, and Steeplechase, bearing post-mark of the 2Sth of December, 1868, will be received until 8 p.m. on the 6th January, 1860. Mares and Geldings allowed 31b.

No entries will be received for any of the above races except upon this condition ; That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying cut of the programme shall be final. No person shall bo allowed to enter or run a horse for any race in this programme (Post entry races excepted) unless the latter be qualified as the bona-fide property of a subscriber of not less than £3 3s. to the race fund. Entries to be received by the Secretary, at his office, Sunderland Street, Clyde, before 8 p.m. on 3rd February, 1869, entrance money enclosed, with name, age, and pedi gree (if any) of the horse, name of the owner, and color of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered, will be fined £2. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes for expenses. Horses walking over, will receive 60 per cent of the stakes. The Dunstan Jockey Club Rules will be strictly enforced. N.B.
