MASONIC.
The Dunstan Lodge, holding under the Scottish Constitution, as announcewas opened on Monday last. The Schuol.house having undergone sundry alterations was made available, we believe only as a temporary expedient, it being the intention of the Brethren to erect a suitable flail for themselves.
BroTror, Vincent Fyke, Grand Master of Now Zealand has nn evtaken temporarily, the duties of Master of this Lodge. After the installation, there were four admissions ma c into the Ancient Craft. It was the intention of the R W. Master, Brother Pyke, it being St. Andrew’s day, to have prcache 1 a Sermon at the Church of England, to which buil iug the Brethren were to march in procession, but time not allowing of such being done, the sermon and procession were postponed till a more favorable opportunity. In this matter, the outTde public were somewhat disappointed. After the business connected with the Installation nn I admission of members into the Order had been concluded, the Brethren partook of a handsome dinner, served up in the Lodge Room. The caterer fur the feast was Mr. Joseph Hastie, of Clyde, who most honorably acquitted himself.
It is nee less to remark tha the Brethren of the Mystic Tye, thoroughly enjoye l themselves, parting at an early hour in peace, love and harmony.
