Don Quixote is too well known to need comment, the proprietor deeming it sufficient to state that ho is in splendid health and first-class conch tit ion. Ugly Buck is a beautiful bay horse, •stands fifteen hands three inches in height, with immense power and bone; got by the imported horse Frank, clam Creeping Molly, by Colonel (imported). UGLY BUCK (vide Ruff's Guide) has performed well in Victoria, having won Fourteen Races, viz.:— As a two-year old he won the Hopeful Stakes at Hamilton, £IOO. As a three-year-old, the Homilfcon Leger, £123 ; at Portland, the Open Handicap, £IOO ; the Portland Logor, £OO ; the Braxholm Leger, £4O ; and at Apslcy, the Ladies’ Purse, £54. As a four-year-old he did not run. As a five-year-old ho won tho All Aged Stakes at Hamilton, £SO. As a six-year-old, (he Town Plate at Winchester, £4O ; the Avoca Town Plate, £3O, and a handicap of £2O ; Consolation Stakes at Balkan, Consolation Stakes at Bacchus Marsh, Town Plate at Kilmore, and Ladies 5 Purse at Lancefield.
