IT is hereby notified that the A nnual Licensing Meeting, will be held on Tuesday, the Ist day of December, at the Courts of the Resident Magis trates throughout the Province, for the purpose of granting General, General Night, Bottle Licenses, &c. Applications must be lodged with the Clerk of Court fourteen days at leastrbefore the said meeting. Intending applicants are reminded that the certificates, together with the license fee, must be lodged in the Treasury, Dunedin, within twenty-one days (viz., -22 nd December) from the above-mentioned date; or, in default thereof, for a further period of thirty days, the license may be issued upon payment of a fine of, £2 in each case, additional to the license fee All persons interested are hereby informed that the law will be strictly enforced, and ‘ that, if they fail to make the necessary applications and payments as herein stated, they will have no possible remedy.
