J Hereby give notice that the Nomination of Candidates for Election to the Offices of Councillors viz—Two for the South Ward, One for the East Ward, and One for the West Ward, also to the Offices of Auditors for the ensuing year, 18C8-9, will take place on Monday, the 27th July, 1858 at noon, at the Council Chambers; and that the poll (if any) will take place on Saturday, the Ist day of August, at the poll ing booths iu the respective Wards; the poll to commence at 9 am. and close at 4 p.m. Forms of nomination may be obtained at the Council Chambers, of the Town Clerk, with whom they must be lodged before noon on the said 27 th day of July instant.
