DUNSTAN MASONIC HALL COMPANY.
A meeting of the Shareholders of the above Company was held at the Dunstan Ho tel, Clyde, on Monday the 30th ult. to receive the report of the directors as to an ex tension of the Capital of the Company. W Fraser Esq. occupied the Chair. The Chairman having stated tho objects of the meeting, called on the Hon. Secretary of the Directors to read the report as follows : Your Directors report that, aftor procuring plans and Specifications, and calling for Tenders through Messrs Clayton and Mason, Architects of Duncdin, they find that the lowest Tender is in excess of the already subscribed Capital of the Company, £155. therefore the present Capital is insufficient for the original purposes. They therefore lay the matter before the Shareholders, and recommend for their coHsidcration the desirability of raising a further capital of £2OO, l>y the is ue of forty additional shares at £5 each, which your Dirrctors consider, there will be no difficulty in obtainingAfter a discussion amongst the shareholders present, it was moved by Mr. Geo, Fache and seconded by Mr, C. Euston : That the meeting, owing to tho paucity of shareholders present, stand adjourned until Wednesday the Bth Jany. 1808 at 9 p.m. and that the Hon. Secretary of the Directors 1)0 requested to advertise the same in the Dunstan Times, and that the proposed site and plans be discussed at the same time—Carried. The meeting adjourned, accordingly.
