No entry will be received except upon these conditions .-—That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the races shall be decided by the Stewards, or a majority of them, whose decisions upon all points connected with the carrying out of the psogramme shall be final 2. No person to enter or nominate a horse un!c-s he be a. subse iber of not less than £2 2s. to the Race Fund. Moreover no person to enter or nominate a horse not his bona-fide property,"unless the said subscription of £2 2s. be paid for the actual owner ; also under penalty of forfeiting any race Buch horse may win. 3. The District to mean a distance of not over forty miles in a straight course fro Cromwell. 4 Three horses to enter in each race or no public money will be given. 5. All entries to be sealed, and addressed to the Stewards, Kawarau Hotel, Cromwell, at or before 8 o'clock p.m. on the 21st day December, 1567. Entrance money to be enclosed, with name, age, and pedigree (if known) of the horse, name of the owner, and the color 3 of the rider. 6. The rales of tho Otago Jockey Club will be strictly adhered to. Mares and geldings allowed 31b. All dog 3 found on the course will be destroyed.
