A meeting of the promoters of the new Gas Company was held last night wheiTihe Report was adopted. The scheme is well received. A large Ball Room is to be erected at the Government House, Wellington, afterwards to be divided into private rooms for the new Governor's family. Sir Geo. Ferguson Bowen has several children and is believed to require rather extensive accomodation, being married to a Greek princess.
