TOWN COUNCIL.
The usual fortnightly meeting of tha Council was held on Tuesday evening last, at the Council Chambers, Sunderland Street. Present, the Mayor, J. I>. Feraud Esq and Councillors Cambridge, Cope, Jl'Connochie, Hazlett, ! >'yan and Goodwin. The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed. The inward and outward co.r«pondencc was also read. Accounts due were ordered for payment. It was agreed that the election for Councillors to come off on the ist. pros should take place before the following • *".i «"""? —viz.
