I, John Nugent Wood, Returning-Officer for Electoral District of Manuherikia, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ bearing date fcl.e 21st day of February, 18G7, issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, Sir George Grey, ai Election will be held for the return of a. qualified person to represent the District of Manuherikia in the Provincial Council of the - Province of Otago ; and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the Court-House, Ilamiltons, on Wednesday the 27th day of March, 1867, at 12 o'clock noon, and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on Wednesday the 3rd day of April, 18G7.
