In again offering myself as a candidate for your representation, I nifty venture to say that I have not deviated from the principles I advocated Vrhen formerly elected, and that if re-elected, I shall endeavour, as heretofore, to seo them carried into effect. -The reduction of those special burdens u der-which mining industry suffers, the promotion of agricultural settlement on the Goldfields, and of the means of communication by roads and railways, are ob jecta of special importance to the mining' community, and any measures for their attainment shall have my hearty support.
