Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865, Monday the 21st day of January inst., at Twelve o'clock, at noon, at the Junction llotel, is appointed for the Nomination of Candidates for Elec'ion to tho Office of an Auditor of the Incorporated Town of Cromwell, to supply an Extraordinary Vacancy, occasioned by the resignation of Mr W. Grant as an Auditor. And further, that the Mayor of the said Municipality will attend on, and at the day, time, and place herein before named, and will then ca\ise to be publicly opened and read, ali such Nominations as shall bo in due form, and shall have been lodged with the TownClerk of ike said Municipality, at his office before noon of the said twenty-first day of January instant. And notice is hereby further given, that in the event of there being more than one Candidate nominated to supply the said vacancy, a Poll will take place on Wednesday the twenty-third day of "January, to commence at ine o'clock in the forenoon, and will finally close at Four o'clock in the afternoon, at the Junction Hotel, for Bridge Ward, and the Cromwell Hotel, for Kawarau Ward.
