DUNSTAN JOCKEY CLUB HANDICAP Of 100 Sovs. For all horses, to be Handicaped by the ■ Stewards, or ■whom they may appoint, the winner of any Handicap of the value of 100 sovereigns, after the declaration of the weights, to cany 5 lbs. extra; two or more such races 7 lbs extra; two miles and a-half; nominations with the sum L 3 3s to be made to the Secretary of the Dunstan Jockey Club, on.the Ist day of December, 1866, weights to be declared in the ‘Dunedin Daily Times’ on the Bth December, also in the ‘ I unstan Times ’ of the 7th Dec., acceptances Jwith L4,4s to be enclosed to the Secretary, of the Dupstan Jockey Club, on or bebefore the night ot General Entry, 26th December, HACK SELLING RACE ‘0f.20 Bovs. For all horses, no weight less than *lO stone, one and a-half mile heats, the winner to be sold for 20 sovereigns, any surplus to go to the Race fund. HULES AND-REGULATIONS. No entry -will be received for any of the above races except' 1 on this condition : That all disputes, 1 claims and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by, the Stewards, or whom they may appoint. ’ - No person shall be allowed to enter or run. a horse unless the latter be qualified a&-the bona fide property of a Subscriber, of not less than X 3 3s to the race fund. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Stewards of the Dunstan Jockey Club, at Smitham’s Sydney Hotel, Clyde, Entrance- money enclosed with the name, age,, and pedigree of the horse, name of owner, ' and*': colors of the rider —any jockey riding except in the colors entered, will be fined 2 sovereigns. N.B.
