Proposed by Councillor Hcthcrington, seconded by Councillor Kick!— That the Council meet on each Monday at 7 p.m. The usual vote of thanks carried t > the . c'.air, clo-cd the proceedings. [ A letter from the Provincial Sccretarv was laid on the table by the Mayor, informing the Council that the sum of " £SOO had been appropriated to the use of - the Municipality of Cromwell. Leslie, requesting payment for services rendered as Acting Town-clerk. Ordered to stand over. Proposed by Councillor Hetherington, ;- and seconded by Councillor Kidd—That e the Corporation account be kept at the , Cromwell Branch of the Bank of New South Wales, and the Town-clerk be directed to write to the Provincial Secree tary acknowledging the receipt of his t letter, and also to the Provincial Treasurer d requesting him to pay the amount of . grant in aid into the Bank of New South VVales, to the credit of the Cromwell >• Branch, for the use of the Municipality sof Cromwell.
