DUNSTAN HOSPITAL.

The usual monthly meeting of the Dunatan. Hospital Committee was held at the Hospital on We dues lay <-v wing lust. Thoro were present Messra Huzlott, Cambridge, Hume (Treasurer), Barlow Marshall, Giindley, Goodwin, Cope (Secretary), NUaif„rd, Morie-v ?.n* -Tank. Mr James Ilaziett occupied the Chair. The minutes of the laßt meeting wore read aud confirmed. The Treasurer, Mr Hume, reported that he had calied upon the Auditors wih the Balance Sheet, but they required some explanation respecting the bank balanca when lie, Mr Hume, took office. The Finance Committee's report showed liabilities incurred during the month as £204 15s. The report was received. The Visiting t'ommitiee and House Surgeon's reports were read and received. The Treasurer's report showed liabilities U end of August £7B 19.s 7d. Assets subsidy from Government £6lB 2s 6d. The report was received. Tenders for supplies were accepted as fol ■ lows: Bread, ls6d per 41b loaf, Joseph Hastie; meat, W. Grindley, B|d per lb , with or without bone ; milk, J trues Oanew, 8d pdr quart; lignite. Jam-s Holt, 34s 61, rei ton; groceries, 0. A vote of thanks was recorded in favour of Mr A. Hume, for hi? services a Honorary Treasurer. A similar vote wis recorded in favour of Sir J. D. Feraud, for hh gift of fruit-trees and plants.
