KITCHEN GA.RDEJT Sow early peas, spinach, radish and lettuce. Onions may be sown for transplanting or for use green. A few brocoli may be planted. Clear the haulm of asparagus, rhubarb, and sea-kale beds, and make new beds of the two last. Apply a good dressing of manure to the old beds, and to asparagus, a dressing of salt in addition. Perennial herbs maybe divided and replanted. Commence to force rhubarb, and sea-kale, for which hot dung, duly prepared, will be required. FRUIT GABDE*. The work of planting with gooseberries currants, raspberries, plums, ifec., will commence this month; put in cuttings of gooseberries and currants. Pruning may commence on any trees that have ful'y shed their leaves, but to prune them before that has happened would be highly injurious. Continue planting strawberries. FLOWER GARDKN. The planting of hardy ornamental •shrubs and trees may be proceeded with, remembering that those planted early in the season have by far the best chance of succeeding. Alterations in the plans of the grounds, or the work of laying out new ones, should be completed forthwith. Har y annuals may be sown, cave being taken that the ground does not want for dnvnage.
