CROMWELL.
At a meeting of the Cromwell School Committee held on the 22nd inst., tha. following resolutions were put and c.fß ricd : “ That Mr. Fleming’s resignation as teacher he accepted from this date, and that he ho relieved from his duties as soon as another teacher can he procured.” “ That the Secretary he instructed to advertise for a teacher immediately, and also communicate with Mr. Hislofp on the subject. “That a Grand Concert and Bali ho held in the Schoolroom on the Ist May, for the benefit of the School Fund, and that the Secretary he instructed to advertise the same forthwith.” Other business of a minor character! being got through, a vote of thanks to thj chairman terminated the proceedings.
