DUNSTAN AND MANUHERIKIA RACES.
Third Day. The attendance on the course to-day was highly satisfactory. The sport was excellent, and quite equal to that of either of the two preceding days. The races were open to all horses excepting the winners of events comprised in the general programme completed last evening. Flat Race Of 10 sovs with entrance added. Mr Cox's Harkaway l A well contested race. Six horses started. Trotting Race Of 10 sovs with entrance added. Mr Lawrence's Jackey 1 uLa. uuiko started. Hurdle Race Of 10 sovs with entrance added Mr Cox's Scotch Jock \ Four horses started. Hospital Race Of 16 sovs. Entrances added Mt Cox's Harkaway \ Sixteen horses started for this race, the. proceeds of which, amounting to .£26 10s were presented by Mr Cox to the Duustan Hospital. Two private trotting matches and a sweepstake concluded the meet.
