IN pursuance of the provisions of an Act oftheGeneral Assembly of New Zealand, intituled " The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," I, Henry Wirgman Robinson, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Goldfield Towns, do hereby give notice, that, by virtue of a writ, bearing date the twenty-seventh day of January, : 866, issued under the hand of his Excel, lency the Governor of New Zealand, an ELECTION will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as a Member of the House of Representatives for the said Electoral Distr'c', aid that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Court House, Clyde, on Monday, the the twenty-sixth day of February, 1866, and that the poll (if necessary) will be taken on Friday, the sixteenth day of March, 1866.
