No entries will be received except on these conditions: —That all disputes,claims, and objections arising out of the races shall be decided by the Stewards, or by a majority of them, whose decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of the above programme shall be final. Three horses to start or the public money j will not be given. No person to enter or nominate a horse unless he be a subscriber of not less than 37. 3s. to the race fund. Moreover no person to enter or nominate a horse not his bonafide property unless the said subscription of 37. 3s. be paid for the actual owner also, under penalty of forfeiture of any race such horse may win. The Dunstan district to include an area • of fifty miles. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Stewards, at the Dunstan Hotel, Clyde, on or before the 14th of February, at 8 p.m. Entrance-money to be enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree (if known), name of owner, and colors of rider. Otago Jockey Club rules will be strictly adhered to. All dogs found on the course will be •destroyed. Five per cent, will be deducted from all winners for expenses.
