MADRID.
December 26. An earthquake of a serious character has been experienced in Andalusia. Tho shock was felt over the greater part of the province, and caused immense damage in several towns and the death of a number of people, besides serious injuries to many others. A shock of earthquake has also been felt here, but it was slight and caused but littlo damage. (Received December 29, 0.40 a.m.) December 27. Later intelligence from tho Province of Aiuhilusia shows that the loss of life by the earthquake has been very heavy ; 150 persons having been killed at Albugueros and 40 at Arenas del Bey.
