MAILS CLOSE For Wairoa, per s.s. Wairoa, to-morrow, at 4.25 p.m. The Stella will leave the Bluff for the West Coast Sounds on Saturday, the 27th inst. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Em-ope, &c, via "Rio do Janeiro and St. Vincent, on Saturday, at 1 p.m. Money orders will close at 11 a.m., registered letters at 12 noon, and bookpackets and newspapers at 12.30 p.m. This mail will be despatched per s.s. Kaikoura from Wellington on Sunday, 21st instant, and will be clue in Plymouth on 31st January next. The Royal Mail steamship Kaikoura will leave Wellington for London on 20th inst. The mail will close at Napier at 5.30 a.m. on ISth inst. For Matamau, Danovirk, Tahoraite, Woodville, Masterton, Palmerston, Foxton, AVanganui, Wellington, &c, daily at 6 a.m. For Clive, Hastings, Havelock, To Ante Kaikora, Waipawa., Waipukurau Takapau, Kopua, Ormondvillo, Norsewood, and Makatoku, daily at 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. For Tauranga, Taupo, and Tarawera, on Mondays, at 7.30 p.m. For Tctanc, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 10.30 a.m. For Meanee and Taradale. daily, at 10.30 a.m. J.
