The passenger accommodation is replete with every modern convenience, and the dietary scale such as will sustain the well earned reputation of the Company. The homeward route will bo via the Straits of Magellan (if weather permits), and the time occupied is not expected to exceed 46 days. An experienced surgeon will accompany eacil steamer. THE NEW ZEALAND SHIPPING COMPANY'S LINE. STEAM TO LONDON IN 40 DAYS. rpHE Company's J- magnificent new steel-built steamship KAIKOURA, 4750 tons register, 4000 horse-power, W. C. Crutchley, R.N.R., Commander, will be despatched from Lyttelton as above on or about December 20th, calling at Rio de Janiero, Madeira, and Plymouth. No expense has been spared in making her passenger accommodation equal to that of any steamer afloat. She is fitted throughout with electric light, and carries frozen ' provisions for all classes of passengers. Special attention is invited to the second saloon, in which are provided bath and smoking rooms, ladies' boudoir, piano, &c, and which equals the saloon in most firstclass steamers. The saloon and Btate rooms are fitted with every requisite for the comfort and convenience of passengers, including smokingroom nnd ladies' cabin. The saloon table will be liberally supplied with provisions of the be.st quality, including fresh meat. There will be a sufficient staff of stewards and a stewardess. y The second class passengers will have roomy cabins, supplied with bedding, &c, and a liberal table with fresh meat and other provisions of the best quality ; also stewards' attendance. Third class passengers must provide thoir own bedding, mess utensils, &c, &c, such as inattrass, blankets, knives, forks, spoons, plates, dishes, &c The provisioiis for all classes of passengers aro cooked by the ship's cooks.
