THE Exhibition is intended to give a practical working illustration of the trades of the colony, the following, among others, having been promised to" bo shown at work in the Hall:—Soap Making, Wire Working, Wood Carving, Lolly Making, Printing, Turning, Cabinet Making and Joinery, Coffee Roasting, Yankee Carpet Making, Boot Making, Tinsmith's Work, Sail Making, Budding and Grafting, &c, &c., &c. There will also be exhibits of Manufactured Articles, Implements, Mechanical Appliances, Working Model Engines, Curios, Works of Art, &c. In a side room will be shown an Illuminated Grotto and Fernery, with Water-wheel in motion. MORBARAKA ARHETE ALLIE. ABDULLA ISMILIE KHORHALIE, from Calcutta, With Indian Fancy Goods, Ladies and Childicns Embroidered Clothing, all Indian hand work. The Exhibition will open on the evenings of WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY, and TO-MORROW AFTERNOON at 2.30. ADMISSION—Is. A "El B 0 ZEN QHE E P from the nnOMOANA -pREEZING \^ORKS WILL be CUT UP AND SOLD IN THE ROOM THIS EVENING. GOLDEN JUBILEE OF FATHER REIGNIER. UPON CHRISTMAS EVE the Rev. Father Reiunier will celebrate the Fiftieth Anniversary of his ordination to the Priesthood. Considering his long residence in New Zealand, and his continued labors in this district in the cause of Religion and Charity, it has been thought proper that his Jubilee should not be allowed to pass without some fitting recognition ;of his worth. It is intended to present him with a Testimonial and a Purse of Sovereigns, such presentation to take place at a Picnic which will be held at Meanee on or about NEW YEAR'S DAY. The co-operation of all friends is invited. Collectors have been appointed for various districts, who will canvass for subscriptions. Subscriptions will also be received by Mr. P. O'Shannassy, Hon. Secretary for Meanee and Taradale, and by the undersigned, J. N. BOWERMAN, . G. E. LEE, Hon. Sees. Napier District.

ST. MARK'S CHURCH, CLIVE. IT is intended to hold a Sale of Work tho second week in December in aid of funds to enlarge St. Mark's Church. Contributions of useful and Fancy Articles, Plants, Flowers, &c, will be thankfully received by Mrs Bennett, Mrs Ellery, Mrs Glazebrook, Mrs Pritchard, Misses Ward and Merritt. A Gift Auction will be held on the same date. Stock, &c, will be thankfully received by Mr Merritt and other Members of the Committee.
