Dunedin, This day. Mr R. B. Martin, president of the Otago Benevolent Asylum, has receieved a communication from the Colonial Secretary s office informing him that a sum will be set apart towards the cost of building a home for destitute old men. The plans of the building have to be submitted for approval, and progress payments will be made when the work is proceeded with.
