The winner of any handicap after the declaration of weights of the value of £100, to carry 71b penalty; of £50, to carry 51b penalty. Hack Race—Of 10 soys, distance, 1 mile, catch weights. Post entrance, 1 soy. Railway Handicap—Of GO soys, second horse to receive £10 from stake, distance, 1 mile. The winner of tho W.C.R.C. Handicap to carry 71b penalty. Nomination, 2 soys; acceptance, 3 soys. Consolation Race—Of 10 soys, one mile, for all beaten horses. Post entrance, 1 soy. RULES. No person allowed to enter a horse unless ho is a subscriber of at least ono guinea to the club. No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. All protests to be accompanied with a deposit of five guineas, to be forfeited if the protest is not sustained. Three horses to start in each race, or only half the money will be given. j "Hack" shall mean a horse that has never started in a weight-for-age or handicap race. Nominations for tho Maiden Plate (with age of horses and colors of riders), Handicap Hurdle Race, W.C.R.C. Handicap, and he Railway Handicap, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must be left with tho Secretary at Kaikora not later than S p.m. on tho 29th of November. Weights will appear on the 6th of December. Acceptances for the Handicap Hurdle Race, W.C.R.C. Handicap, and the Railway Handicap, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, and colors of riders, must be left with tho Secretary not later than 8 pm. on the 17th of December. Five per cent, deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. All races run under tho H.B. Jockey Club rules and weights, which will be strictly adhered to. DATE OF NOMINATIONS AND ACCEPTANCES.
