Considering his long residence in New Zealand, and his continued ' labors in this district in the cause of Religion and Charity, it has been thought proper that his Jubilee should not be allowed to pass without some fitting recognition of his worth. It is intended to present him with a Testimonial and a Purse of Sovereigns, such presentation to take place at a Picnic which will be held at Meauee on or about NEW YEAR'S DAY.
