BOATING SEASON.
Wanganui, This day. The boating season was formally opened on Satuaday, eleven crews taking part in the procession. Both clubs have every prospect of a successful season before them, and are in a splendid position, both as regards plant and membership. If arrangements can be made the Union will send a team for the whale-boat race at Auckland.
